I taught my first college course in 2005. I fell in love with it and earned a Ph.D. from Florida State University in 2012. For the next decade, I taught students Literature, History, and Humanities while pastoring in local churches. I wanted to help people thrive. In 2023, my life took an unexpected turn, and I found myself as the Executive Director of Chick-fil-A. I knew nothing about running a restaurant, but I knew about leadership, something this store desperately needed. I went on to transform that store, delivering its best year ever despite having yet to work in the quick service industry. Well, not me. I just focused and released the talent and energy already there. Leadership, focus, and empowering others lead to remarkable results.

My professional career is a curious one, but curiosity is one of my core values. I want to know the world and understand what makes people tick. I want to make the world a better place, and my best path is to help others flourish. Everyone has the potential to live a life of purpose, and I want to help individuals overcome the obstacles between them and their goals.

My curious path has led me to be a Curious Leader. I think differently, I lead differently, and I help others cultivate the skills to be their whole, unique selves. Teaching and Pastoring made coaching a natural fit for me, but my role at Chick-fil-A encouraged me to sharpen my skills. I have spent the last year reading everything I could get my hands on. I employed new focused strategies to watch my team members grow. I started coaching former students who had turned into young professionals to develop the habits needed to transition into their new reality. I am ready to take this show on the road, or at least to the internet. Join me, and let's do something great.

My Story

My purpose is to steward my gifts to help others thrive. Life is busy; distractions are endless, and the stuff that really matters often gets forgotten in the noise and hustle of every day. I saw this as an educator with students, a pastor with individuals in our community, and a business leader with those I coach. Watching someone take a step towards their goals and align their life with their purpose and passion is what drives me.

I spent over two decades stumbling through life, learning lessons about productivity, habits, and purpose the hard way. Now, I want to help others accelerate their journey.
